Nathaniel Rateliff

Conocido sobre todo por singles como"S.O.B." y"Heartless", el músico estadounidense Nathaniel Rateliff nació en St. Louis (Misuri) el 7 de octubre de 1978. Aunque triunfó en el Top 40 como líder de la banda de soul Americana Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, debutó en 2002 con un grupo diferente llamado Born in the Flood. Publicaron un álbum, If This Thing Should Spill, en 2007, antes de que Rateliff decidiera trabajar en solitario. Bajo el nombre de Nathaniel Rateliff and the Wheel, se asoció con amigos con inquietudes musicales para crear los álbumes Desire and Dissolving Men (2007), In Memory of Loss (2010) y Falling Faster Than You Can Run (2013).

Con un cambio en la dirección creativa, formó Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats en 2013. Su debut homónimo encabezó la lista Folk Albums Chart de Billboard y alcanzó el número dos en la Alternative Albums Chart. El single "S.O.B." alcanzó el número tres en la Alternative Songs Chart y el número ocho en la Hot Rock Songs Chart. El EP 'A Little More From...' siguió en 2016 antes de la oferta del segundo álbum de 'Tearing at the Seams' en 2018. 'You Worry Me', el single principal de 'Tearing at the Seams', encabezó la lista Adult Alternative Songs Chart en 2018, y el álbum se quedó fuera por poco del top ten del Billboard 200.

En 2020, Rateliff lanzó el álbum en solitario And It's Still Alright. El disco alcanzó el número 78 en el Billboard 200 y el número 2 en la lista Folk Albums. También siguió actuando y grabando con The Night Sweats, con los que publicó The Future en 2021 y South of Here en 2024.
