The brainchild of two aspiring musicians, one American and the other Argentine and a friend with access to a good studio, Stereo Dub has been creating masterpieces since the early 2000s. They first tried their hand at mystic ambient music in the style of local legend Buddha Sounds, whom they revere and their hit, Luna de Alegrias is from this period. However as they watched the success of friends like Dual Sessions, Ituana and Urselle who were developing unique versions of pop classics, they decided to give it a try as well. The friend with the connections came through again and this time they got the chance to record with the formidable Karen Souza to help her create her acoustic version of Capital Cities hit Safe and Sound. These days Stereo Dub is working to add reggae-inspired sounds and vocals to #1 crossover hits, their latest fusions can be found at: Vintage Reggae Café - Official Playlist.
