Biografía
Blending flamenco, indie-folk, pop and Catalan rumba, Spanish balladeer Álvaro Lafuente Calvo a.k.a. Guitarricadelafuente marries the traditional with the modern. Born in the Spanish coastal hotspot of Benicàssim and based in Zaragoza, Calvo launched his career in 2017 by uploading Spanish-language covers to social media. He released his first original song, "El Conticinio," in 2018 and delivered another two singles that year, "Guantanamera" and "Sixtinain." In 2019, Calvo upped his game to lend his voice to the movie Nada Será Igual, and notched up a trio of singles, "Nacido Pa Ganar," "Agua Y Mezcal" and "ABC." He also released a noteworthy collaboration with reality TV talent winner Natalia Lacunza, "Nana Triste." 2020 was peppered with new music from Calvo, including "Desde las Alturas," the first single off his forthcoming debut album.
