Biografía

Hard rock guitarist Saul Hudson – born in Stoke-on-Trent, England on July 23, 1965 – is better known by his stage name Slash. With his top hat and mass of curly black hair, Slash became the ultimate guitar god of the late 1980s, unleashing blistering solos and thundering riffs as Guns N' Roses went on to become the biggest, wildest band of the era. With Guns N' Roses, he had performed on five albums and six Top 10 singles including “Welcome to the Jungle”, “Sweet Child O' Mine”, and “November Rain”. Slash left Guns N' Roses in 1996 and started performing under the guise of Slash's Snakepit before later finding success with Velvet Revolver, a supergroup fronted by Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland. Slash launched his solo career in 2008 and recruited a host of guest vocalists - including Dave Grohl, Kid Rock, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop, and Fergie - to star on his debut solo album Slash in 2010. The album reached Number 3 in the US charts, and he toured the major festivals of the world with Myles Kennedy as his vocalist before returning with second album Apocalyptic Love (2012). He opened for Aerosmith on their Let Rock Rule tour of 2014 and released his third album, World On Fire, later in the year. In 2016, Slash returned to Guns N’ Roses, although they were no longer a full-time band. Meanwhile, he still focused on his solo career, and released the Living the Dream (2018) featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. Slash and his solo bandmates returned to the studio during the COVID-19 pandemic and began recording their next album. It was reported in 2021 that both Slash and Myles Kennedy tested positive for the virus, but both made a full recovery. At the end of 2021, Slash, Myles Kennedy, and the Conspirators returned with the single “The River Is Rising”. In February 2022 is released the album 4.
