The brainchild of Spice Girls and Take That manager Simon Fuller, the all-singing, all-dancing seven-headed teen pop beast came with a Monkees-style television show, a merchandise range and even their own gang of mini-clones, the S Club Juniors. Plucked from an open audition of over 10,000 applicants, their BBC sitcom Miami 7 became the UK's top rated children's series before they went on to dominate the UK charts with 11 Top 5 singles. Gleaming stage school smiles, synchronised dance moves and perfectly produced pop produced the Number 1 singles Bring It All Back, Never Had A Dream Come True, Don't Stop Movin' and Have You Ever, while second album 7 (2000) topped the album charts. Splitting in 2003, Rachel went on to have a short-lived solo career, Hannah starred in the ITV drama Primeval and Jo was last seen in the Big Brother house.
