At the close of 2020, Lubalin skyrocketed to viral TikTok fame thanks to his hilarious “Internet Drama” parody videos, which have since earned him over 3.4 million followers on the platform.
The video series, which was only ever meant to be a promotional tool for his music, quickly became the center of his life.
“When everyone thinks of you as a TikToker, it’s hard not to see yourself that way.”
He landed national appearances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and The Kelly Clarkson Show, as well as recognition in major outlets like Rolling Stone, BuzzFeed, The Los Angeles Times, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight and more.
But in July of 2021, he stopped posting to TikTok altogether. Fans began asking his whereabouts in the comments of his last posts.
Now, seven months later, he’s making his return. But... something’s not quite right.
