In the confines of reality and night arose Obliq. Beetween shadow and light the french combo delivers an unconventional rock. It is a spell catching the listener in its vibrant musical aesthetics. In the hands of the Red Lady and her acolytes proceeds the curse in a generous and magnetic maelstrom.
The band was born at the end of 2018 at Music Academy International (Nancy, France). From the meeting of San, Mat, Chopper and Triton, a strong and original creative emulation emerged thanks to the musical horizons of each one.
The 'ObliQ' sound was created.
It is a classical Progressive Rock combo imbued with a dreamy aerial pop to progressive metal accents. ObliQ explores and plays on these different scenes.
The year 2019 is turned toward the first gigs of the band, where their compositions are received with enthusiasm by the audience.
After an intensive year of creation, ObIiQ records its first album at the beginning of 2020 and releases its first single “The Box”, distributed in March 2020.
This single is supported with a lyric video, asserting the will of the band to offer a graphic universe as strong as its music.
