Second Major is a rock band based in Lyon (France), formed in February 2024. Their indie rock is infused with post-punk and a touch of 90s Britpop. In a DIY spirit, they blend gripping rhythms and haunting melodies for an intense, timeless live experience.
In their compositions, the band explore the interplay between tension and liberation, tackling themes such as human relationships, the flaws and virtues of our societies, and daydreams mixed with everyday life.
With their first EP "BLOOMS", available on 25 April 2025, Second Major conjure up the passage of time and enter the spring with a bang: it's a furious, addictive and powerful bloom.
