Amir Sota Manuel Tambo or Laitezy Rich is a Mozambican artist, born in the city of Beira, moved to the city of Chimoio at the age of 8, after the death of his father, living in Bairro Vila Nova with his mother, a neighborhood highlighted because of from the high level of crime, and drug trafficking, where he saw the difficulties of life with a deceased father and an unemployed mother living in one of the most precarious neighborhoods of the city, at 13 years old Laitezy Rich gets involved with drugs, at 14 he is expelled from school, in the neighborhood of Vila Nova having moved to another district in the same year in an attempt to continue with his studies and leave the world of drugs, this year Laitezy Rich started writing lyrics, failed with his studies, having thus ruled for the Bairro da Vila Nova the following year, where he created a group made up of teenagers (VIP BOYS or VB) in which, for various reasons in life, he is the only member of the group nowadays, carrying the VB on his back everywhere. That's how Laitezy Rich came about, he tries to use the difficulties he goes through in life to motivate others not to fail, Laitezy is self-motivated every day in order to transmit a lot of positivity to you. Laitezy Rich is currently the most outstanding rapper in Bairro Vila Nova, with no album released, his first album is scheduled for 2025.
