Biographie

American musicians Zach Beeken, Andrew Scholz, and Colton Pack formed the country act Restless Road in 2013, while all three artists were auditioning for The X Factor. Encouraged by judge Simon Cowell to collaborate, the musicians formed a trio and eventually placed fourth in the TV competition. They moved to Nashville following the show's finale, with Pack leaving the lineup in February 2014 and a new vocalist, Jared Keim, joining in his place. Although Restless Road's touring schedule included shows alongside arena headliner Demi Lovato, the band's lineup continued to be unstable, with Scholz leaving in 2015 to pursue a solo career and a new member, American Idol alum Garrett Nichols, climbing aboard. Keim left three years later and was replaced by the band's returning co-founder, Pack. Signed by country star Kane Brown to his new record label imprint, Restless Road hit the Billboard charts for the first time with "Take Me Home," a song heavily inspired by "Take Me Home, Country Roads." Recorded as a duet with Kane Brown, "Take Me Home" climbed to Number 7 on Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart and appeared on the band's debut EP, Restless Road. Following its release in 2020, the group began working with producer Dan Huff on a full-length album. "Growing Old With You," the first glimpse of those collaborations, became a radio hit in 2022.
