Cadena Perpetua is an Argentinian punk rock band formed in 1990. The group emerged from the Buenos Aires underground scene and initially released an independent cassette titled Cadena Perpetua. Between 1993 and 1995, they performed as a support act for bands such as The Ramones, La Polla Records, and Steve Jones. In 1995, they signed with Frost Bite Records and released their self-titled debut studio album. This was followed by their second album, Buscando Salidas (1997), which marked their first international tour in Venezuela and the United States. Their third album, Largas Noches (2000), was released under Vinilo Discos and included the track “Si Me Ves.” In 2003, they released Malas Costumbres via Lee-Chi Discos, featuring the single “Desde el infierno,” and performed at major events including the first Quilmes Rock festival. The band went on to tour extensively across Argentina and abroad, and in 2006 released Demasiada Intimidad.
