Sidney Charles

Sidney Charles is a German electronic music DJ and producer from Hamburg, renowned for his style blending groovy house, punchy tech-house and deep techno with old-school influences. Active since the early 2010s, he has rapidly established himself as a figure on the European club scene, thanks to his dynamic sets and dancefloor-calibrated productions. Influenced by hip-hop culture in his youth, Sidney Charles discovered house and techno through German clubs and honed a warm, textured and rhythmic sound. He became resident on the Avotre label, founded with Santé, and also released acclaimed EPs on labels such as Hot Creations, Saved Records, Truesoul, Moon Harbour, Relief and RAWthentic. In addition to his performances at major international clubs and festivals such as Berghain, DC-10, BPM Festival and Sonus, Sidney Charles runs his own label, Heavy House Society, which supports a personal vision of underground house and young talent. Renowned for his technique and energy behind the decks, he is considered one of the most consistent producers on the European tech-house scene. In 2025, his fiftieth Let's Pardey EP, in collaboration with Kolter, included the hit "Woop Woop". This was followed by Reset, with Archie Hamilton, then Take It Back, with a new hit, "Take It Back (To the Old School)", charting at No. 58 in the UK singles chart. In 2026, the EPs On My Mind (No. 50 in the download charts) and Face Your Fear are released.
