LA duo NEIL FRANCES is the brainchild of Australian Jordan Feller and Californian Marc Gilfry. Starting as a production duo, their demos were accidentally discovered by tastemakers like KCRW and triple j, forcing them into the spotlight. Dance-floor sociologists from the start, the pair organized a live band with bassist Greg Cham and drummer Rhythm Luna. They have sold out tours, opened for acts like Jungle, Odesza, & Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and evolved into a festival staple playing over 20 renowned festivals, including Lolla & ACL. In 2024, they are confirmed for Coachella, Electric Forrest & Bonnaroo. Feller, an old-school hip-hop head and rave kid, has a gift for sonic recall and beats-based production, while singer/guitarist Gilfry writes melodies and hooks on command. The result is genre-spanning club-ready grooves with influences ranging from rave culture, funk and soul, yacht rock, and hip-hop. You will just as likely hear a sample flip as you will a guitar run through a tape machine. Their 2018 EP, Took A While, showcased their infectious sound to critical acclaim. Global attention followed when their cover of Stardust’s "Music Sounds Better With You” went viral, earning Gold Certification. In 2022, they released their debut LP, There Is No Neil Frances, a concept album centered on manifestation and self-realization. It’s All a Bit Fuzzy, followed in 2023, showcasing their love for collaborations with rising talent like dreamcastmoe, St. Panther, PawPaw Rod, and DRAMA.
