Isaiah Firebrace, born 21 November 1999 in Portland, Victoria, Australia, is an Aboriginal Australian singer of Yorta Yorta and Gunditjmara descent who first gained public attention through the Fast Track Singing Competition in Melbourne, leading to a scholarship at the David Jaanz School of Singing. His breakthrough came when he won the eighth season of The X Factor Australia in 2016, performing "It's Gotta Be You" as his winner’s single, which peaked at Number 26 on the Australian Singles Chart and charted internationally. On 9 December 2016, he released his debut studio album Isaiah under Sony Music Australia, reaching Number 12 on the Australian Albums Chart. In March 2017, SBS internally selected him to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest, where he performed "Don't Come Easy" and finished ninth. He continued to expand his repertoire with singles such as "What Happened to Us" (2019) and "When I’m With You" (2022), the latter a duet with Evie Irie that placed tenth in Eurovision – Australia Decides. Firebrace toured extensively, including a 55‑date Spirit and Beyond tour in 2019, and collaborated with artists like Lee Kernaghan and Mitch Tambo on "Come Together" (2022). His other projects include a children’s book, Come Together, and a self‑composed Christmas single "First Christmas" (2022).
