Svetlana Chertischeva, known by her stage name Betsy, was born on January 27, 2013 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She is a Russian singer and blogger who is active in the pop genre. Betsy started her first video blog at the age of five, supported by her parents. Her father, composer Mikhail Chertishchev, writes all her songs. Betsy regularly shares humorous episodes of her life on social media, focusing on her music. in 2021, she achieved great fame with the song "Simple Dimple Pop It Squish" in collaboration with the twins M&A, which went viral on social media. Other successful tracks include "Ятебе поставлю лайк" ("I'll give you a like") and "Pump It Up". In spring 2024, Betsy releases the song "Яне по пон" ("I didn't understand"), which is based on hate comments she received on the internet.
