We Butter the Bread with Butter is a German deathcore band from Berlin, Germany, formed in 2007 by guitarist Marcel Neumann and vocalist Tobias Schultka. Their debut album Das Monster aus dem Schrank (2008) was released subsequently, followed by Der Tag an dem die Welt unterging (2010). Their lineup toured extensively with acts such as Callejon and opened for A Day to Remember multiple times. In 2010, Schultka departed, leading to the addition of new members including Paul Bartzsch on vocals. We Butter the Bread with Butter released a third album Goldkinder (2013) and a fourth album Wieder geil! (2015). In 2019, Schultka rejoined, and their lineup released a fifth studio album Das Album (2021), marking a return as a duo after an eleven-year hiatus. Other notable releases include the EP Projekt Herz (2012) and the single "Dreh auf!" (2019).
