Ivette Becerra Meza, known as Aranza, was born on September 27, 1971, in Chihuahua, Mexico. She began her musical journey at age 10 and moved to Mexico City at 15 to pursue a singing career. In 1990, she joined the group Viva Voz, later renamed Zarabanda, with whom she released "Nada nos Detiene" under Sony Music. Aranza's solo career started in 1994 with her self-titled debut album under EMI Capitol, featuring the hit single "Mentiras y Lágrimas." In 1997, she gained significant recognition for singing "Dime," the theme song of TV Azteca's telenovela Mirada de Mujer, which was produced by Armando Manzanero. This led to her third album of the same name, featuring hits like "Suele Pasar Así" and "Para Dormir Contigo."
