Miho Karasawa, known professionally as TRUE, was born on July 15, 1983, in Tokyo, Japan. She began her career as a singer and lyricist under the stage name TRUE in 2014, after previously being signed to Horipro and later moving to Lantis. Her debut came in 2000 with the release of the single "Anytime, Anywhere". She released several singles throughout the early 2000s under her own name, including "Way to Love"  and "ライヴ" (2001), followed by "Endless Harmony" (2002) and "Cloudy" (2004). Karasawa returned to the music scene in 2014 under the name TRUE, with the single "UNISONIA", which was used as the opening theme for the anime series Buddy Complex. This marked her comeback and established her as a prominent figure in the J-pop genre. Her first full-length album under the name TRUE, Joy Heart, was released on December 23, 2015, featuring notable tracks such as "DREAM SOLISTER" (April 22, 2015) and "Dear answer" (2015). Throughout her career, she has contributed theme songs to various anime series, including "Violet Evergarden", "Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet", and "Sound! Euphonium". Her discography includes albums such as Around the TRUE (2017), Lonely Queen's Liberation Party (April 25, 2018), and コトバアソビ (2021) as well as EP  ReCoda / BLUE DAYS in 2024.
