Percival Schuttenbach, a Polish folk metal band from Lubin, was formed in 2005 during a medieval market focused on Slavs and Vikings. The group initially performed acoustic folk music under the name Percival before expanding into folk metal with additional members as Percival Schuttenbach. In 2006, Joanna Lacher joined as a singer and drummer, followed by Christina Bogdanova in 2010. Their debut album Eiforr was released in 2007, followed by Oj Dido in 2008. Percival Schuttenbach's first album, Reakcja Pogańska, was released in 2009. In 2013, they were commissioned by CD Projekt RED to record the soundtrack for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which significantly boosted their international popularity upon its release in 2015. Notable albums include Svantevit (2013), Mniejsze Zło (2015), and Dzikie Pola (2018). The band's live performances, such as the Metal Witcher Concert (2021), further solidified their presence in the folk metal scene.
