Jezzy

Jezzy (also known as Jezzy El Chef) is the stage name of Jessy Leonardo Lorenzo Rodríguez, a Dominican dembow artist who built his name through independent singles and videos before breaking wider with the street favorite “Que Sensación,” a cut that he later expanded into a high-profile remix with Arcángel. Working in close orbit with scene powerhouses and hitmaking producers, Jezzy sharpened a punchy, chant-driven style over minimal, sub-heavy beats—often with Leo RD, Herido No Muerto, and Chael on the boards, and frequent visuals directed by Lehwiz. Through 2024 he stacked collaborations and solo drops, including the El Alfa link-up “Mundo de Pirañas” and the club-tooled single “A 30,” which kept his name rotating on DJ sets and dembow playlists. In early–mid 2025 he kept the pace with “Adelante le copio,” added the darker, cinematic “Sinsenti,” and continued appearing on genre playlists that clustered his most streamed tracks alongside top-tier peers from the República Dominicana wave.
