Takako Mamiya, born 間宮 貴子 in Japan, was a Japanese singer. She began her music career as part of Pao, a choral trio that released the single "Yes (Say Yes)" through Eastworld in December 1978. In November 1982, Mamiya released her only solo album, Love Trip, under Kitty Records. The album featured ten tracks, including notable songs like "Mayonaka no Joke" and the titular track "Love Trip". Despite not achieving mainstream popularity upon its release, Love Trip gained cult status decades later with the rise of city pop. It was re-released multiple times starting from December 2012, highlighting its enduring appeal. Mamiya retired from music after her marriage and released no further albums or singles. Love Trip had a second and third re-release in 2014 and in August 2019. It also had two vinyl re-releases in August 2020 and August 2021. and coloured vinyl releases in August 2023 and in April 2024.
