Ingrid Contreras is a Mexican singer from Ciudad Obregón, Sonora (born October 31, 1995) who moved from local performances into a solo career built around big-voice romantic songwriting and modern regional-pop arrangements. She began releasing her own material in the late 2010s, then widened her audience in the early 2020s through a mix of originals and high-impact reinterpretations, leaning into classic Latin ballad writing while keeping the phrasing and production current. Her breakthrough era centered on a series of performance-led releases—En Vivo, Vol. 1 (2020) and En Vivo, Vol. 2 (2021)—followed by En Vivo, Vol. 3 (2022), the cycle that carried “Aunque Sea En Otra Vida” into her signature set. Alongside those live albums she developed an acoustic line—Acústico, Vol. 1 (2021) and Acústico, Vol. 2 (2023)—and kept adding singles that expanded her repertoire beyond one viral title. In 2025 she stayed highly active, releasing En Vivo, Vol. 4 and Acústico, Vol. 3, while also pushing a new run of singles and EP material that included “Vas A Llorar Por Mí,” “Te Ofrezco,” “Abro Hilo,” “Decidí No Amarte Más,” and “Esta Vida No Es Vida,” reinforcing her lane as a contemporary Mexican vocalist who balanced original heartbreak songs with selective, audience-tested covers.
