Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2001, Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji aka Cameroonian-American recording artist Libianca kicked off her career in 2021 and launched herself onto the Afrobeats scene with slow-burning jam "People," which went viral in 2022. Libianca moved to Cameroon with her brother when she was four and spent her early years residing in the country before moving back to the US at the age of 13 where she began to focus her attention on music. She rose to fame after appearing on the 21st season of the singing competition show The Voice in 2019 with Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend among the coaches. In 2021, she released the singles "Thank You," "Special Lovin,'" and "Everything I Wanted," followed by "Woman" in 2022 and her breakthrough track "People" in December 2022.
