Obus

Obús, a Spanish heavy metal band formed in Madrid in the early 1980s by Juan Luis Serrano and Francisco Laguna, gained prominence with their debut album Prepárate, produced by Tino Casal. The title track reached Number 1 on Los 40 Principales radio station. Their follow-up albums, Poderoso Como El Trueno (1982) and El Que Más (1984), solidified their status in the Spanish heavy metal scene. Notable songs include "Autopista" and "La Raya". Obús became known for their live performances, which often attracted large audiences. By the time of the band's 30th anniversary, they had appeared at major festivals and sold more than a million records. Despite periods of hiatus and lineup changes, Obús continued to release albums like Desde El Fondo Del Abismo (2000) and Cállate (2009).
