Gramatik

Denis Jašarević, known professionally as Gramatik, is a Slovenian electronic music producer who was born in 1984 in Portorož. He began producing hip-hop music at age 13 and later gained international recognition by sharing his tracks through the online music store Beatport, which he cites as his gateway to the electronic music industry. He released his debut studio album, Expedition 44, in 2008 followed by Street Bangerz Vol. 1 (2008), the latter of which charted on the Beatport Top 100 Chill Out chart for six months. In 2009, he signed with the label Pretty Lights Music and released the studio albums No Shortcuts (2010) and Beatz & Pieces Vol. 1 (2011). Jašarević established his own record label, Lowtemp Recordings, in 2013. His discography includes the studio albums The Age of Reason (2014), Epigram (2016), and the recording Cyberpunk 2020 OST (2020). He has released singles including “Brave Men” (2014) and “Native Son” (2016). In 2017, he became the first artist to launch his own cryptocurrency, known as GRMTK, raising the maximum amount of 2.48 million dollars in under 24 hours.
