The Bunny the Bear, an American post-hardcore band from Buffalo, New York, was formed in 2008 by Matthew Tybor and Chris Hutka. Known for their eclectic style blending rock and electronic subgenres, they released their self-titled debut album independently in 2010. A music video for "Aisle" caught the attention of Victory Records, leading to a signing deal. Their first major-label release, If You Don't Have Anything Nice To Say, was issued in 2011. The band toured extensively with artists such as Funeral for a Friend and Escape the Fate. Subsequent albums included The Stomach for It (2012) and Stories (2013). The lineup fluctuated significantly, with Hutka departing multiple times. Notable collaborations included studio musicians Doug White and Matt McGinley on Food Chain (2014) and Haley Roback on A Liar Wrote This (2015).
