Born in Inverness, Katie Gregson-MacLeod is a Scottish singer-songwriter whose introspective lyrics and soul-stirring vocals have quickly established her as one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary indie and folk-pop. She first gained widespread attention in 2022 when a raw, piano-led demo of her song "Complex" went viral on TikTok. Blending delicate piano melodies with sharp, deeply personal storytelling, her music explores themes of heartbreak, identity, and quiet resilience. Her sound draws comparisons to artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abrams, and Joni Mitchell, while maintaining a uniquely Scottish intimacy and lyrical perspective. Following the viral success of "Complex", she signed with Columbia Records and in 2022 released her debut EP Songs Written for Piano, earning critical praise and a growing global fanbase. 2025 saw the release of the Love Me Too Well, I’ll Retire Early EP.
