Born on October 3, 1997, in Puerto Madryn, Chubut, Argentine singer-songwriter Camilú discovered her love for music early, performing as a soloist in her town’s municipal choir at just nine years old. By her teens, she was playing across the province with a school band and went viral on social media at 15 after uploading a cover of Luis Fonsi’s “Aunque estés con él.” At 18, she moved to Buenos Aires intending to study speech therapy, but her passion for music quickly took over. After gaining followers through covers, she began writing her own songs, performing in bars, and collaborating on stage with artists like Coti, David Bisbal, and Chano. In 2020, she released her debut EP Tiempo de Espera, followed by singles “Sirena” and “Me Enamoré” featuring Colombian artist Alejandro Santamaría. Her self-titled debut album Camilú arrived in 2021, including tracks like “Modo avión” and “Dejarte ir.” She followed it in 2022 with the album Que me duela, and continued releasing singles such as “Una lágrima y un beso” with Nahuel Pennisi, “La despedida,” and “Live Session Vol.1 - Ya me habré ido” with Karina. In 2023 and 2024, she remained active with high-profile performances and collaborations, teasing her upcoming third album with “Maniática.” 2025 saw the release of the single "¿De qué vamos a hablar?" featuring Puerto Rican singer Pedro Capó.
