Biyografi

Whethan is an American DJ and music producer hailing from Chicago, Illinois. Born Ethan Snoreck on May 25th, 1999, the electronic artist started releasing house music under his own name, using Garageband on his iPad and heavily influenced by Daft Punk and Deadmau5. Whethan’s music masterfully blends future bass with electro pop, creating a highly idiosyncratic sound that has garnered the attention of fellow EDM peers Skrillex and Flux Pavillion. He has also made remixes for pop luminaries such as Zayn, Ty Dolla $ign, Lorde, and Travis Scott. In 2016, his collaboration with pop artist Ashe, “Can’t Hide,” received over 2 million plays on Soundcloud and reached Number 1 on Billboard’s Spotify Viral 50 chart. His 2018 collaboration with Dua Lipa, “High”, reached Number 2 on the US Dance charts and was featured on the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack. That same year, he released his first LP, Life of a Wallflower Vol. 1 and collaborated with Tom Morello and Portugal. The Man on the single “Every Step That I Take.” The producer remained prolific between 2019 and 2020, releasing the singles “Win You Over,” “Let Me Take You,” “Summer Luv,” and “Stay Forever.”
