Money Man

Tysen Jay Bolding is an American rapper who performs under the stage name "Money Man." He was born in The Bronx, New York, on February 27, 1986, but spent most of his childhood in Atlanta, Georgia. He became active in the rap scene in the early 2010s, but it wasn’t until 2016 that he finally rose to fame with the Black Circle trilogy, a series of mixtapes that helped him grow a substantial following and included cameos by Young Thug, Akon, and Gucci Mane. After delivering the mixtapes Secret Society, 24 Hours, and Harvest Season in 2017, Money Man upped the ante in 2018 by releasing five new mixtapes as well as an EP titled Winter. Paranoia, his first charting release, appeared in 2019 and cracked the Top 40 of the Billboard 200. That same year, he also joined forces with Atlanta rap staple Peewee Longway on the collaborative album Long Money. Heavily inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic, the mixtapes Epidemic and State of Emergency were released 2020, with "24" becoming a triple-platinum hit in America. Blockchain followed in 2021, peaking at Number 13 on the pop charts and earning a gold-certified hit with "LLC." Featuring stellar appearances from hip-hop luminaries such as Benny the Butcher, Nardo Wick, and G Herbo, his full-length Big Money landed at Number 95 on the Billboard 200 in 2022.  Mixtapes like 2022's Blackout, 2023's Red Eye, and 2024's Purple Heart followed, along with hits like "Turnt," which reached number 37 on the Mainstream R&B / Hip-Hop Singles chart that summer.
