Leifur James

Born in London, England, Leifur James is an experimental/electronic producer, musician, and composer who mixes avant-garde music with jazz and dance. His debut album, A Louder Silence, was released in 2018. While not aimed at a commercial audience, the album was a surprise left-field hit, earning critical praise and support from UK-based radio presenters and DJs including Gilles Peterson. The following year, Leifur James released A Louder Silence: Remixes, and EP of tracks from the album remixed by up-and-coming DJs and mixers. The EP received more critical praise and raised anticipation for his next release. He then took his multi-media live show on the road to great reviews. In May, 2020, Leifur James released his second album, Angel in Disguise but had to postpone all live performances due to the COVID pandemic.
