Davy One

Davy One, real name Dayvonn Dautruche, is a French composer, beatmaker and singer born in 2002, of Ivorian and Haitian descent. He first made a name for himself composing for artists such as Kalash Criminel ("Ahou", 2018), Wejdene ("Coco", 2020), PLK ("R.A.F", 2021) and Franglish ("Bolingo", 2023). In 2021, he embarked on a solo career, releasing his first EP Prémices in 2022, a project in which he explored sounds mixing trap, drill and RnB, featuring the hit "Bourbier" with Liim's. He followed this up in 2023 with the SUAVE Tom 1 EP. 2024 saw Davy One develop a distinctive musical style, fusing trap, pop and Afro-Caribbean influences. His catchy, autotuned flow became a veritable signature sound. That same year, his popularity exploded with tracks that went viral on TikTok, including "COCKPIT", "Jeu de Jambes", "De L'Or", "MANIFESTER", "T'es Une Étoile" and "Qui?". Although absent from traditional social networks, he is very active on TikTok, where his tracks inspire millions of videos. On 1ᵉʳ November 2024, he took to the stage at La Cigale for his first concert, marking a significant step in his career.
