LFO, an acronym for Lyte Funkie Ones, was an American pop and hip-hop group formed in 1995. The band originated from New Bedford, Massachusetts, and initially consisted of Brad Fischetti, Rich Cronin, and Brian "Brizz" Gillis. In 1998, Gillis left the group to pursue a solo career and was replaced by Devin Lima. LFO's breakthrough came with their single "Summer Girls", which reached Number three on the Billboard Hot 100 in June 1999. The band released their self-titled album LFO in August 1999 and Life Is Good in June 2001. Notable songs include "Girl On TV" and "Every Other Time". LFO appeared on television shows like The Amanda Show, further boosting their popularity among teenage audiences. The group disbanded in February 2002 due to declining album sales and the waning popularity of boy bands. Rich Cronin passed away in 2010 after a battle with leukaemia, and Devin Lima followed in November 2018. Despite their disbandment, LFO sold over four million records worldwide.
