Tourist

William Phillips, known professionally as Tourist, is a DJ, producer and musician born on February 12, 1987, in London, England. His career began with the release of his self-titled EP Tourist in March 2012. Following this debut, Phillips released several EPs including Tonight (February 2013) and Patterns (April 2014). His breakthrough came in 2015 when he won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year for co-writing Sam Smith's "Stay with Me" alongside James Napier. Phillips has since released multiple full-length albums, including U (May 2016), Everyday (February 2019), and Memory Morning (April 2024). He is also known for his remixes of artists such as Christine & The Queens, Hozier, Wolf Alice, and Chvrches. Following a collaboration with Gold Panda on the Us Two EP, he followed up with his sixth full-length album, Music Is Invisible, released in December 2025.
