Lorenzo Cherubini, who goes by his moniker Jovanotti, is an Italian rapper and singer who started out as a DJ while a teenager and worked in radio before his first album, 'Jovanotti for President', came out in 1988. He has released several albums since then that have sold well in his homeland and his single 'Welcome' went to number 19 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs Chart in 1989. His 2012 recording, 'Italia: 1988-2012', reached number 14 on Billboard's World Albums Chart and 'Lorenzo: 2015 CC.' peaked at number 13. He performs internationally and in June 2018 he appeared at the SSE Arena in London, England.
