Raffertie

Benjamin Stefanski, known professionally as Raffertie, was born on April 17, 1987 in England. He is a British DJ and electronic music producer based in London. After graduating from Birmingham Conservatoire with a degree in Classical & Contemporary Music Composition in 2010, Raffertie quickly established himself in the electronic music scene. His early releases included "7th Dimension" (2010) on Planet Mu and the EP Visual Acuity (2011) on Ninja Tune, which was praised by Nick Grimshaw's show on BBC Radio 1. In August 2013, Raffertie released his debut album, Sleep of Reason, under Ninja Tune. Following this, he transitioned into film score composition, working on projects such as the Amazon series The Continental: From the World of John Wick (2023) and the feature film The Substance, which premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. Raffertie's work in film scoring earned him an Ivor Novello Award for Best Original Film Score in 2025.
