Malik Djoudi was born in Poitiers, Vienne, in 1979. He developed a passion for music at an early age and grew up in Lusignan, encouraged by a mother who saw in him a real talent and got him to sing Carmen when he was only six. It was in Paris that the young man's destiny was written, as he first took singing lessons with Magma singer Klaus Basquiz, and then tried to make a name for himself in the heart of the French music industry. First by writing the theme tune for a reality TV show, then by composing the music for a Japanese cartoon, but above all by trying to make a name for himself in the world of one of the three pop-rock bands in which he sings: Moon Pallas, Kim Tim and Alan Cock. But at the age of 25, discouraged by a romantic break-up, he left the capital and returned to Poitiers, where his projects slowed down. By 2011, however, he was back in the saddle, singing in several shows by choreographer Pierre Rigal, which took him around the world. Now more experienced, he released his first album, Un, in 2017, in which he established his new electro-pop universe. His second album, Tempéraments, is due for release in 2019, and includes a duet with Étienne Daho on "À tes côtés". nominated at the Victoires de la musique awards, it will be released in 2020 in an edition with four bonus tracks, including the duet "Folie douce" with Juliette Armanet. The songwriter was soon back in the studio, releasing the album Troie in 2021, featuring contributions from Katerine, Lala &Ce and Isabelle Adjani. After tributes in the form of covers to William Sheller ("Le Carnet à spirale") and Michel Polnareff ("Lettre à France"), in 2024 follows the album Vivant, where pop and electronica play an equal part.
