Biyografi

Despite having made a name for himself as a socially-conscious acoustic singer-songwriter, LA-based artist Wrabel achieved international fame through a series of collaborations in the world of EDM. Throughout his career, he has also penned songs for the likes of Adam Lambert, Ellie Goulding, and the Backstreet Boys. Born Stephen Wrabel on January 7, 1989, in New York, he studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston before relocating to Los Angeles to try out his luck in the music industry. After landing a record deal with Island Records in 2012, Wrabel cracked the Top 10 of the US Heatseekers chart with his 2014 debut EP, Sideways. That year, a remix of his song “Ten Feet Tall” by Afrojack became a global hit after being featured in a Bud Light commercial during the Super Bowl XLVIII. Wrabel returned in 2016 with the single “11 Blocks,” which reached Number 12 on the Adult Top 40 Airplay, mainly thanks to the public support of American singer-songwriter Kesha. We Could Be Beautiful, his sophomore EP, arrived in 2017 and was followed later that year by the non-album single “The Village,” released in support of the LGBT community. In the subsequent years, Wrabel continued his steady ascent to the top with the EPs One of Those Happy People (2019) and Piano (2020), and put out his long-awaited studio debut These Words Are All for You in 2021. “Worst Kind of Hurt,” a duet with actress Laura Marano, saw the light in 2022 and was featured on the soundtrack of the Netflix rom-com The Royal Treatment.
