Cash Cobain is a two-fold rapper and producer who’s the originator of "sample drill", a sound that has completely transformed the identity of drill music in NYC by introducing 90's R&B, 2000's pop, and even gospel to the genre through Cash's impeccable ear for chopping up recognizable samples and placing them over his bouncy production. Cash Cobain's reach has gone on to span well beyond NYC, with his style of reinventing samples crossing the pond to the UK on the production for Central Cee's track "Daily Duppy" (50M+ streams), and receiving co-signs from international superstars like Lil Uzi Vert & Frank Ocean who used his song “JHOLIDAY” (1.8M streams) in a Homer Ad. The success of his breakthrough production placement on B-Lovee’s 2021 hit song “My Everything” (35M+ streams), on which he flipped a classic Mary J.
