Katy J Pearson

Katy J Pearson is an indie singer-songwriter known for her blend of folk, Americana, country, synth-pop, and indie-rock influences. Born in Swindon, Wiltshire, raised in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, and based in Bristol, she initially gained recognition as part of the indie-pop duo Ardyn alongside her brother, before embarking on a solo career in 2019. Katy J Pearson's distinctive voice and commanding melodies have connected with fans across the UK, where she enjoys a dedicated fanbase. She released her debut single "Tonight" in 2019 on the UK label Heavenly Recordings with her debut country-adjacent album Return following in 2020. Her second LP, Sound of the Morning, surfaced in 2022 and drew critical acclaim. She released her third album, Someday, Now, in September 2024, which was recorded with Heavenly label-mates Davey Newington (Boy Azooga) and Huw Evans (H Hawkline) alongside Joel Burton and producer Nathan Jenkins aka Bullion.
