Biyografi

Composed of producers Matthias “Double M” Menck and Dennis “Bonebreaker” Bohn, and vocalists René “Diablo” Behrens, Ulrika Bohn, and Alejandra Cuevas-Moreno, German progressive house act Brooklyn Bounce became known in the mid to late 90s thanks to their energetic music and their over-the-top live shows. Hamburg natives Menck and Bohn started releasing music under the pseudonym Boyz R Us before debuting as Brooklyn Bounce in 1996. Their first album, The Beginning (1997), made its way to the German Top 10 aided by the singles “The Theme (of Progressive Attack)” and “Get Ready to Bounce,” which also gained traction in countries like Hungary and France. Though not as successful as its predecessor, their follow-up album, The Second Attack (1998) enjoyed moderate success through the hits “The Real Bass” and “The Music’s Got Me,” both of which managed to get into the US Dance charts. In the following years, and propelled by the singles “Bass, Beats & Melody” and “Club Bizarre,” Restart (2001) revitalized the group’s career and became a hit in Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands. After the lukewarm reception of BB Nation (2002), Brooklyn Bounce released System Shock (The Lost Album 1999) (2006) and BB-Styles (2010), a collection of remixes in collaboration with DJs From Mars, Daniel Winter, Max K., and many more.
