Rap phenomenon and Houston native Lebra Jolie got her start as a preteen, penning poetry that in turn led to her rhyming over Limewire beats and uploading the songs to MySpace. From there, Lebra’s YouTube channel became a visual hub for her talent, leading to her developing a strong following within her local Houston scene. Fueled by cuts like her freestyle over Future’s “Mask Off,” it became clear that Lebra was on the verge of something great. Lebra’s inspirations include fellow Houston titan Beyoncé, along with Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. 2021 marked a major turning point in Lebra’s career thanks to the song “Now What,” which propelled her to new heights. By the Summer, she dropped two more bangers—the high energy “Choppa” and “Jolie (Freestyle),” which crystallized her place as part of hip-hop’s new guard. She was courted by a number of labels, though maintained her independent status until the timing felt right. After being signed to Interscope Records, she released her label debut single, “Spring, Summer” followed by a summer party anthem, “Get U Some” featuring New Orleans’ own Rob 49. She’s since performed at Rolling Loud and set the streets on fire with her self-titled label debut EP “Lebra Jolie,” a project packed with women’s empowerment, witty lyricism and Lebra’s signature style. Lebra has consistently released viral freestyles and is gearing up to release a 4-track freestyle pack that includes her new freestyle “Honeykomb Crazy.” Each freestyle resonates with Lebra's unique persona and offers a vivid display of her versatility and boundless creativity. With each carefully crafted freestyle, she levels up and cements her place in the female rap scene.
