Mathieu Lamboley, born on January 25, 1980, in Les Lilas, France, is a French film music composer. He studied at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris, earning five first prizes. Lamboley's film music career began as an orchestrator, collaborating with Grégoire Hetzel on Un Conte de Noël. His breakthrough came with the score for Les oreilles n'ont pas de paupières, a 2004 animated short film that won the Best Sound Design award at the Aubagne International Film Festival. He has since composed music for numerous films and television shows, working with directors such as Yvan Attal and Julie Delpy. Notable works include the scores for Minuscule 2: Les Mandibules du bout du monde and Lupin, a television series that marked an international turning point in his career. Lamboley has received several awards, including the UCMF prize for Best Music for an Animated Film in 2020 and the SACEM Grand Prize for Music for Film in 2023.
