LUIZA

Born in Rennes to a Brazilian mother and French father, singer Luiza Fernandes is known by her first name and stage name Luiza. She came into contact with music at a very early age, following classical training at the Conservatoire, before leaving for Brazil, where she discovered different musical practices, before studying at the Beaux-Arts de la Réunion. Back in Paris, she embarked on a musical career full of collaborations, recording a dub EP with Khoe Wa and lending her voice to Fakear, Mahom and Flavia Coelho. As a solo artist, she has released a number of tracks combining French pop, South American music and tropical rhythms, creating crossovers with cumbia on "Demain demain", baile funk on "Oxalà", maloya on "Wadidadu" and Latin pop on "Chica" . In 2025, the Fantastik EP is released, followed by a summer festival tour. Her collaboration with the group Bleu Soleil on the track "Soleil bleu" brought her to the attention of a wide audience, when the song went viral and became a summer hit, ranking No. 1 in France and Belgium, and No. 5 in Switzerland. Luiza continued her solo career with "Jet Lag" and her version of the Brazilian classic "Manhã de Carnaval", both featured on her debut album Luiza, released in April 2026.
