Nazzy the Mic is an 18 year-old pain rapper from Philadelphia. Discovering a magnetic love for hip hop at the age of 6, she began to focus on her flow, songwriting, and delivery often performing in her living room for her family. She’s been recording in the studio since the age of 12 and her debut label release was in 2020 at the age of 16.
Some of Nazzy’s artistic influences include Young M.A, Lil Tjay, NoCap, Rylo Rodriguez, H.E.R., G Herbo, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again. Nazzy mines her real life as a Gay and Muslim teen and product of inner-city Philadelphia, painting a visceral image as a prolific storyteller. Growing up she's witnessed violence and experienced trauma, love and loss, conflicts between her religion and her sexuality. Her music parallels her life and conveys an emotion far deeper than words alone. Nazzy has been featured in popular music publications such as Elevator Mag, Wordplay, Notion, and many more.
Nazzy is a rising star whose talent and capabilities grow each day.
