Ace Tee

Raised in Germany by Ghanian immigrants, Ace Tee creates 1990s-inspired R&B that is as diverse as her background. Although born in Berlin in 1993, she spent the majority of her childhood in Hamburg, where she apprenticed as a hair stylist before releasing her debut single, "Bist du Down," in 2016. "Bist du Down" was recorded with fellow German rapper Kwam.e, who also appeared on Ace Tee's follow-up single, "Jumpa," as well as her 2017 EP Tee Time. Meanwhile, the homemade video for "Bist du Down" became a viral sensation in the US, where Ace Tee began earning comparisons to TLC, Missy Elliott, and other '90s throwbacks. Her sophomore EP, Ace X, was released in 2020, following a number of collaborations with German acts like Figub Brazlevič and Kalim.
