Soft Kill, an American musical band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2010 when vocalist and guitarist Tobias Grave dissolved Blessure Grave. The transition led to Soft Kill's debut album An Open Door, released in 2011. Following the initial success, Tobias Grave faced health issues that temporarily halted the band’s activities. Despite this setback, he continued to record demos, which were later compiled into Circle of Trees (2013). The band reformed in 2014 with a new lineup and released Heresy (2015) and Choke (2016), the latter featuring a collaboration with Mark Burgess from The Chameleons on the track "On The Inside". In 2018, they released Savior, inspired by personal tragedies, followed by Premium Drifter (2020), Dead Kid Demos (2021), Canary Yellow (2022) and Metta World Peace (2023).
