Finch Asozial was born Nils Wehowsky on April 13, 1990 in Frankfurt (Oder). The rapper from Germany now also performs under the name "Finch". Musically, the artist's lyrics and style are based on the GDR of the 1980s. Finch also uses Eurodance and gabber elements. The trained mechatronics engineer initially honed his rap skills on social media. Finch Asozial released his first single "Ostdeutscher Hasselhoff" in 2016. The first EP Fliesentisch Romantik was released in 2018. The single "Abfahrt" made it to number 63 in the singles charts in the same year and achieved gold status. Dorfdisko , Finch Asozial's first studio album, follows a year later. The rapper climbs to number 2 in the German album charts. The second album Finchi's Love Tape followed in 2020 and also reached number 2. From 2021, the artist dropped the "Asozial" part of his name and only performed under the name "Finch". His single "Herzalarm" (feat. Blümchen) climbs to number 7 in the charts in 2021. The album Rummelbums is released in 2022. This is Finch's first number 1 hit in Germany. It reached number 9 in Switzerland and number 23 in Austria. Finch also made it to number 1 in the German album charts with his fourth studio album Dorfdisko zwei. The rapper's fifth studio album, Schluss Mit Lustig, is released in February 2025.
