The Learning Station, an American educational children's musical group, was founded in Connecticut in 1987 by husband-and-wife team Don Monopoli and Laurie Monopoli. The group later included Jan Hrkach after the couple moved to Melbourne, Florida. Their work focused on combining music with education. Notable albums include Children Love to Sing and Dance (1987), Play to Rest (1988), Brain Boogie Boosters (2008), and Action! Fun! Dance! (2012). Laurie Monopoli, who acquired an early childhood education degree, notably developed the educational content for their concerts and recordings. The group has also performed extensively across the United States.
