Drew Taylor is a Canadian country artist born in Toronto, Ontario, on September 15, 1990. Passionate about music from an early age, and country music in particular, he began playing guitar at the age of twelve and writing his first songs shortly afterwards. He appeared on the scene in 2019 with the track "Shots Up", soon followed by "Wayback" in 2020 and a duet with Kristina Nichol on the ballad "Waiting on Love" in 2021. The same year, "Music to My Beers" reveals another facet of his style, moving from contemporary country or pop to "bro-country", before signing "Quiet" (2021) and the concerned "18 Wheelin' Soldiers" in 2022. He displays a more modern image with "Wish I Didn't", while "Backroad USA" is a return to his roots. In the midst of preparing a debut album, the elusive artist unveiled "Take Me Back" (2023), then "Almost Knowing You" (2024), followed by his first hit, "Good Thing Goin'", which reached number 52 on the Canadian country charts.
